Sign 2 Connect

Hi, my name is Karlee. I am deaf-born (fully deaf in left and fitted with hearing aid in right) SEE(Signed Exact English) to PSE (Pidgin Signed English) Signer. I teach PSE, Deaf Culture, Deaf History. Currently working on getting my degree in ASL (American Sign Language). I have taught at several senior centers, after school programs and mothers with their toddlers. Over the years students and I had many thought provoking discussion. I was always sure to gave students the safe space to ask any questions even if they thought it was rude, intrusive or too dumb to ask. I assure you it isn't, this is a learning environment. I am currently working on an interesting challenge that I have set for myself. Is to get 1,000 people in Las Vegas to be knowledgeable in their ABC and 100 basic words in sign before getting my new smile which is by the end of 2024. Will you come sign with me?
